Anouk
Anouk is a filmmaker, writer and creative director—and the founder of Designo, established in 2005.
Her work spans documentaries and historical films, Indian heritage and family histories, brand films and commercials, music videos, horror and fantasy, visual art and design, post-production and coffee-table books. She also develops short films, original stories and ideas for series. Her background includes branding, graphic and print design, conceptualisation and visualisation. Story, research and visual imagination have always been at the heart of her work.
In 2023, she began exploring AI as a new creative medium. Building on Designo’s foundation in filmmaking, writing and visual storytelling, that exploration led to Designo AI Labs—bringing decades of craft together with the possibilities of AI.
Her practice brings together concept development, research, writing and screenplays, storyboards and visual treatments, art direction, and character and world development. At DAL, she brings that creative direction to AI filmmaking, working across writing, direction, VFX, editing and animation—from the first idea to the finished piece.
She is open to commissions, creative collaborations and production partnerships.
